Yes people! It's another News Round Up! We haven't done one of these in a while, have we? In this new episode we cover most of the major news stories of this month and discuss our thoughts on them. We cover everything from Elon Musk's meltdown at the New York Times to the fate of BBC show Ghosts! We also go off on a tangent, which as many of our long time listeners will know, that's not at all surprising!

Now, we know the US has some weird laws but the UK may have outdone them as in this new episode of our podcast, Dominic talks about some of the strangest ones. Road and Land laws in the UK seem to be the most different to the US. Does all of the land in England and Wales REALLY belong to the Crown? (The Monarchy, not the Netflix show, in case you were confused.) Of course, the strange food service laws regarding eggs which sparks a great debate amongst people of the US and UK...

Scotland is a magical place and that's in no small part due to the historic Highlands region. The Highlands, for centuries, were a stronghold for the ancient Scottish clans and have been the inspiration for countless works of art and fiction. Diana Gabaldon's 'Outlander' series of books is set in the Scottish Highlands and deals with the end of the Highland way of life. In this episode, we talk about wanting to visit the Scottish Highlands, in Dominic's case again, and driving the NC500 route!

The British think they're right about everything. From how tea is made to how the English language is spoken, especially getting place names right! But when it comes to certain places names in the United States, Brits have a nasty habit of getting it wrong, either on the account of the accent, or just plain ignorance of the name! In this podcast episode, Dominic tells us of his mispronunciations of American place names and his struggle to get them right!

Yes, that's correct folks. It's British people getting angry at Americans getting it wrong. But why? Why do they get so angry? And what could possibly be annoying them so much. Americans aren't British, they don't know the history, the culture and can't be expected to, right? Wrong. Brits get very annoyed. They'll let Americans know their displeasure at the slightest error they make about British culture or history.
