Rhyming Slang is one of the few mysteries of the British people left. It originated in the east end of London with the criminal element as a code to avoid the ever-listening ears of the police, but it grew into a language of its own and spread throughout England. In shows and sitcoms based in London, it gained further popularity, especially during the 1980s with 'Only Fools and Horses'. In this new episode of our podcast, I spring a Rhyming Slang Quiz on Erica and see how many she gets right. Tune in to see how well she did and how well you do!
