Flavours of the UK and the USA - Episode 116
If you travel to the UK from America for the first time, and pick up a package of Skittles, or any fruity candy for that matter, from the grocery store or a gas station, you may be surprised to find that the purple-colored candies are not grape-flavoured, but are, instead, black currant-flavoured. And, you might not be able to find Marmite potato chips in the US, but odds are, you won't have a problem finding jalapeño crisps. This podcast is all about the different flavours, foods and ingredients, in general, that are more popular in the United States than in Great Britain and vice versa. Have a listen to our latest episode and then let us know if we forgot any other flavours, foods, or ingredients that are super popular in either America or Britain.
